Does it hurt my baby?
No, it does not hurt the baby. Babies may cry because the clay is cold and they do not like to have their hands open. We are very gentle with your baby!

Is the clay bad for my baby’s skin?
No, the clay is non-toxic and often you would never even know the print was done. It is a very quick and clean process.

What colors do you have for my child’s impression?
We offer many different colors. It is best to see them in person before making your choice. If you have something you want to match a color to, we recommend that you bring the item with you to see if the color matches or coordinates with your item.

How old does my baby have to be?
All age done. It is better to be late than to never do it at all! We have done from just minutes old to a 94 year old Grandma. Don’t wait until your baby is opening their hand. We can open their hand and get a great impression at any age.

How do I get the Printz done?
You will need to set up an appointment by calling us at (800)988-0120 or you can email us at Info@CherishedPrintz.com.

How many children can you fit on one plate?
We offer you a variety of choices. How many children depends upon the size of their hands/feet. We can do plates up to 17 ½ inches wide. Call to discuss any special plates.

Do you have gift certificates available?
Yes, we have gift certificates available! In fact, they make fabulous baby shower gifts! We can even mail you a gift certificate or you may pick it up.

Can you come to my home/hospital?
Yes, we can travel to you. If your baby or child is, unfortunately, in the hospital with a life-threatening illness, we will do the impression complimentary.

How long does it take after the impression is made?
We usually have the plates ready to be picked up within 4 weeks. It could be a little longer depending on the weather.

What if I want more than one impression?
Each plate is as unique as each child. Therefore, each plate is its own impression. Copies can be made off of one print, but more detail is captured when done as an original. (2 plates = 2 impressions)

Can I personalize my impression?
Yes, each impression is as unique as your child and we want you to be able to cherish your impression forever.

How much does it cost?
We keep our prices affordable so no one misses out on the treasure of a lifetime! Our prices start at $15.00 and go up from there. Our most popular plate is one hand and one foot which costs $33.00. If you are unsure of the cost of your impression, please ask.

Can a parent and child be done together?
Yes, we offer a variety of “family plates”. Our most popular family plate is one parent’s hand with the child or baby’s hand inside the parent’s hand. We call this plate “Always Holding Hands”.

Do you do other types of Printz?
Yes, we also do animals, dogs, cats, and even reptiles. Please call ahead so that we can take our allergy meds !!

Can you do two or more colors on a plate?
Yes, we offer all different types of color options, but the solid color impressions show the best detail of your child’s hand and foot.
